Unions + unity

This month, I reflected on unions as I process and prepare for marriage. I adopted circles a source of experimentation around this theme, and I began to gather inspiration from art history including religious iconographies like halos. That led me to learn about glories, a natural phenomenon in the atmosphere that produces a halo-like effect from light. So many fun wikipedia rabbit holes were the inspiration these sketches.
